Mandated Reporter Training

As employees of an organization working with youth, we are all mandated reporters, which means we are legally required to report any instance of known or suspected child abuse. This is a complex issue, but there are many resources available to help us should a situation arise. As you begin this training, know that within the Project Ember community we are always available for support, and additionally there are hotlines we can consult with if we are ever unsure of how to proceed.

For any required pre-camp training, there will be a stipend for completion. This course is 2-4 hours, will earn you a certificate, and $50 from us. If you are able, please complete this course before the beginning of staff training; otherwise please make sure you have it done before your first day on the floor with kids.
